リペアカフェは、壊れたモノを持ち込んで修理する場所です。2009年にオランダで始まり、現在は世界2,500ヶ所以上で運営されています。Repair Cafe Fukuokaは、SWANOIRが運営するRepair Café International公認の修理拠点です。九州で唯一、日本に7つある公認拠点のひとつ。IoT機器の開発作業場で、壊れたモノを直しています。
A repair café is a place where you bring broken things to get them fixed. The concept started in the Netherlands in 2009 and now operates in over 2,500 locations worldwide. Repair Cafe Fukuoka is an official Repair Café International location operated by SWANOIR — the only certified location in Kyushu, and one of seven in Japan. We fix broken things in our IoT device development workshop.

Eバイクは、サービスが終了したVanMoofを中心に対応しています。旧VanMoof蘭本社とは正式な取引関係があり、オランダのネットワークを通じて純正パーツを調達しています。バッテリーの完全放電からの復旧や電子系統の診断など、一般的な自転車店では対応が難しい領域を扱っています。他社製Eバイクもご相談ください。
For e-bikes, we primarily work on VanMoof, having had an official business relationship with the company before its bankruptcy. We source genuine parts through our Dutch network. We handle battery recovery from deep discharge, matrix LED display disassembly repair, and electronic system diagnostics — areas most bicycle shops can't cover. We also accept consultations for other e-bike brands.

機械式時計にも対応可能です。部品交換、調整などの修理にも対応しますが、メーカー保証を優先しておりますので、事前にご相談ください。スマートウォッチの修理もご相談ください。
We have a mechanical watch repair specialist on staff, handling overhauls, parts replacement, and adjustments. We also accept smartwatch repair consultations.

We handle everything from common items like fans, toasters, and hair dryers to things other shops have turned away.

「Cafe」という名前ですが、おしゃれなカフェではありません。IoT機器の開発作業場でやっています。工具と部品に囲まれた、ちょっと雑然とした空間です。お茶は出しますが、気が向いた時に抹茶を点てる程度です。
Despite the name "Cafe," this isn't a trendy coffee shop. We operate in our IoT device development workshop — a slightly cluttered space surrounded by tools and parts. We serve tea, but only matcha when we feel like making it.
壊れたモノを持ち込んでいただく、予約制です。修理担当者が常にいるわけではないので、「時計の人に見てほしい」「Eバイクの担当者はいる？」など、ご希望がある場合は事前にご連絡ください。
Bring your broken items in — reservation required. Not all repair staff are present every day. If you have specific needs, please contact us in advance.
ご相談の約半数が海外の方です。簡単な英語での対応はできますが、電話での英語対応は難しいスタッフもいます。メールでのご連絡が確実です。
About half of our visitors are international. We can handle basic English, but email is more reliable than phone for English communication.
Pricing料金
基本的に作業費は無料です。以下の費用がかかる場合があります。
- 交換部品代（実費）
- Eバイクなど専用機器の使用や特殊な作業を行う修理（Vanmoofのみ料金体系が別です）
- 海外からの部品取り寄せ（送料・手数料含む）
- 製品の持ち込みはすべてお客様ご負担をお願いしています。物流費及び梱包についてはすべてお客様でご手配ください（梱包資材のお預かりもできません）。
料金が発生する場合は、必ず事前にご連絡します（勝手に直しません）。
Labour is generally free. You may be charged for:
- Replacement parts (at cost)
- Repairs requiring specialized equipment such as e-bikes (quoted separately)
- Parts sourced from overseas (including shipping and handling)
We always discuss costs before proceeding.

Repair Café Internationalに公認登録された日本の拠点は7つ。Repair Cafe Fukuokaは九州で唯一の公認拠点です。日本国内の公認拠点の多くは、ワークショップや上映会など、普及イベント主体で運営されています。Repair Cafe Fukuokaは、予約制で持ち込み修理を受け付ける常設型の拠点です。
From the Ground修理カルチャーの現地から
2024年、オランダ・ハーグで開催されたRepair Café International 15周年イベントに招待され、現地参加しました。会場には、ハーグ市長を中心に、各国の拠点運営者が集まっていました。話題の中心は、EUの修理権条例(Right to Repair Directive)でした。2024年に採択され、加盟国は2026年7月までに国内法化します。洗濯機、冷蔵庫、掃除機、スマートフォンなどで、メーカーに修理サービスの提供が義務づけられます。フランスでは2021年から「リペアスコア(indice de réparabilité)」が家電製品に表示され、消費者が修理しやすさを見て製品を選べるようになっています。フィリップスは内部部品へのアクセスを容易にし、特殊部品を減らしたコーヒーメーカーを展開しようとしています。現地で印象的だったのは、修理を「文化」や「思想」として語る空気は全くなかったことです。現在のムーブメントの広がりを皆で祝ったら、すぐにそれぞれがブースを広げて直し始める。リペアカフェは、シンプルな活動の積み重ねの上に立っています。

かつて商店街にあった電器屋さんや時計屋さんのような場所を、現代の技術で少しだけ取り戻してみよう、という取り組みです。
商店街には、自転車屋さん、電器屋さん、時計屋さんがありました。扇風機が止まった、時計が動かない、そういう時に持っていく場所が、必ず一軒ありました。部品代だけもらって、世間話しながら、直してくれた。しかし、今は、このような電器屋さんと時計屋さんがとても少なくなりました。RepairCafeFukuokaには、長年使った家電、もらった時計、Eバイクが持ち込まれます。「他で断られた」「どこに持っていけばよいかわからない」── 東京から送られてくることもあります。電動ではない自転車は、日本には、まだ街の自転車屋さんがたくさんあると思いますので、預かりません。しかし、Eバイクは電動系が自転車屋さんの範囲外で、メーカー対応も切れがちなので、うちで引き受けています。リペアカフェは、2009年にオランダ・アムステルダムで始まった、家電や自転車を中心とした、「直す場所」です。サーキュラーエコノミーやリペアカルチャーといった言葉より前に、"工具"と"部品"と"直せる人"がいて、お客さんが壊れたものを持ってくる、そういう場所として始まりました。リペアカフェは世界に3つのタイプがあります。地域ボランティアによるコミュニティ型、カフェが集客イベントとして開催するイベント型、そしてIoT企業が技術リソースを部分的に解放する社会一員型。Repair Cafe Fukuokaは3つ目です。オランダ本国ではWD-40やフィリップスなどの企業が技術提供する形が広がっており、私たちは現地のスタイルに最も近い日本の拠点です。VanMoofは旧蘭本社との取引関係から始まり、現在もオランダ経由で純正パーツを調達しています。弊社のIoT事業部のEV充電関連の技術は、Eバイクの修理にそのまま使えます。機械式時計は、専門の修理者が見ます。直せれば直す。直せなければ、次の選択肢を一緒に考える。シンプルな活動です。
Every Japanese shopping street used to have a bicycle shop, an electronics repair shop, and a watch shop. When a fan stopped working or a watch stopped ticking, there was always a place nearby. The owner would charge you for parts, chat for a while, and fix it. Today, those electronics shops and watch shops have largely disappeared.People bring us long-used home appliances, watches received as gifts, and e-bikes from defunct manufacturers. "Turned away elsewhere." "Didn't know where else to go." Sometimes packages arrive from Tokyo. We don't take regular bicycles — there are still plenty of bike shops around. But e-bikes fall outside what bike shops handle, and manufacturer support has often ended, so we take them in.Repair Cafés started in Amsterdam in 2009 as places to fix home appliances and bicycles. Long before anyone talked about circular economy or repair culture, there were tools, parts, people who could fix things, and customers bringing in what was broken. That's how it began.There are three types of Repair Cafés worldwide: community volunteer-based, café-hosted events, and a third type — where technology companies open up part of their resources as a contribution to society. Repair Cafe Fukuoka is the third type. In the Netherlands, this model has grown through companies like WD-40 and Philips providing technical support. We're the Japanese location closest to that style.Our VanMoof work began through an official business relationship with the original Dutch headquarters, and we still source genuine parts through the Netherlands. The battery diagnostic technology our IoT division uses for EV charging infrastructure transfers directly to e-bike repair. Mechanical watches are handled by a specialist.If we can fix it, we do.
